Starting as a two man business in Newark, Ohio, in 1969, Breathing Air Systems has become the nation’s leader in sales and service to the breathing air industry. We’ve installed more than 3300 compressors over four decades. And throughout our history, we have achieved many awards, including, the Ohio Small Business of the Year. And we have consistently been recognized as the  #1 distributor for BAUER Compressors throughout our 41 years in business.

Today, our home office and factory is located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and we maintain branches in Ocala, Florida; Moweaqua, Illinois; Michigan Center, Michigan; and Chattanooga, Tennessee. All five offices provide an experienced sales and service staff serving a 10 state area. As a BAUER Master Distributor, we also work with a network of regional dealers to provide parts and service throughout the United States and internationally.

In our 41 years of business, we’ve provided breathing air solutions in just about every state in the United States. Fire departments around the world rely on Breathing Air Systems for mobile trucks and trailers, compressors, control panels, oxygen supplies, fill stations, air and oxygen boosters, filters, gauges, and hoses. Our air analysis and maintenance programs keep the air safe and plentiful for thousands of fire fighters across the nation, including Canada and Mexico.

Here are some of our extras:

• Sales Staff. Our own sales personnel are experienced technicians. When you are talking with someone on our staff about purchasing a piece of equipment, you are also speaking with someone who knows that piece inside and out. The BAS sales staff are also technicians, who spend time in the field, every month, installing new equipment or servicing existing equipment.
• Service. We can and do service everything we sell. We offer a comprehensive Semi-Annual Maintenance Program and Breathing Air Quality Analysis programs, to which we currently have over 4000 subscribers. We have full time certified technicians and a fleet of service vans ready to respond to your call for help.
• On-Site Start-Up. We do not consider a sale final until we have installed our equipment and started it up to make sure everything works the way it should. We pioneered this service, and are proud we did. Some of our competitors have attempted to copy this service, and we take that as a compliment to our company.
• Training. When we install and start up a new compressor, we also provide an on-site training for all personnel who will be operating and maintaining the equipment. We also award certificates for all who participate. This service is free.
• Parts Center. Our stock of Bauer spare parts and materials is probably the largest in the country.  Parts orders can be completed via our website or contact our parts department at 1-800-937-2479.  We stock Bauer Parts, Mako Parts, Eagle Parts, Scott Parts and parts for just about any make and model compressor and fill station.
• Dependability. We have established an unequaled reputation in our field for honesty, dependability, and integrity. No one can provide better equipment, give better or more complete service, or has more knowledge about making and storing high pressure breathing air than Breathing Air Systems.
